Already historically accustomed to radical demographic changes as well as to both peacetime and war migrations, the region of Central and Southeastern Europe is once again witnessing a migration wave, this time as a transitory space on the way from the Middle East to the West. A discussion on the necessary response to this newly developed situation has already started among the architectural community. This time, we will not be able to resolve the situation by using the tourism resources of the Adriatic coast, as was the case in Croatia during the war of the 1990s.
